Photo to GIF

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

This page explains what happens to your photo when you make a GIF.

Your photo

When you click Make my GIF, your photo and any description you typed are sent to our AI provider, fal, which runs an OpenAI image model to make the GIF. We keep the uploaded photo for at most 24 hours so the request can finish, then delete it. We do not publish or sell your photo.

Your GIF

We store the GIF so you can come back to it. GIFs made with your free credit are deleted after 30 days. GIFs made with purchased credits are kept until you delete your account. Anyone with the private link to a GIF can view it.

Your account

You sign in with Google. We keep your email address, your GIF balance, and your purchase history. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. You can delete your account from the account page, which removes your saved GIFs.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to count visits and see which pages are used. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it only runs after you accept; elsewhere it is on by default and you can turn it off on the privacy choices page. We never send your photos or GIFs to analytics.

Children

The service is not meant for children under 13.
